Efter att The Oath splittrades 2014 så vägrade Johanna Sadonis att lägga gitarren på hyllan och bildade tillsammans Lucifer tillsammans med några engelska veteraner. 2017 splittrades den sättningen och hon träffade sin kommande make Nicke Andersson (Hellacopters, Entombed, Imperial State Electric etc etc) med vilken de lyfte Lucifer till nya nivåeer
Efter det har de turnerat både i runt om i Europa och USA, blivit nominerade till grammisar etc. Musiken kan beskrivas som väldigt mörk 70 talshårdrock
